Gift Homsaen
Paper Artist & Bookmaker
Gift Homsaen makes handmade paper from recycled paper and turn it into notebooks, stickers, bookmarks, and book earrings.
What started as a hobby quickly became a full-time focus. As she made more paper and bound more books, Gift rediscovered my joy and creativity in a practice naturally aligns with her passion for sustainability and low-waste living.
Using existing materials such as recycled paper, secondhand fabric, old bank statements, bills, school papers, tablecloths, towels, jeans, and curtains, Gift stays true to her mission of creating low-waste crafts.
Beyond environmental and economical reasons, paper crafting creates a sense of peace. It allows Gift to focus and slow down through hours of work, and inspires her to write and paint in the notebooks she makes. Gift teaches local workshops to help share this reflective and rewarding experience with others.
